““My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:27-28 (NLT)
Ascension of Jesus: Acts 1:1-11(NLT)
Jesus is the one who can reveal God to you. This is the authority God has given to Him. Jesus is alive. Just now we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus from the dead. He also ascended to heaven after being with His disciples for 40 days. We should also celebrate the ascension of our Lord which is more significant which occurred 40 days after His resurrection. Jesus, who is God, is in Spirit form right now to come inside of each and every one of us to guide and help.
Jesus said, “But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me. Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged.” John 16:7-11 (NLT)
Descending of Holy Spirit: Acts 2:1-4(NLT)
Now Holy Spirit of God is given to us to be with us all the time on the 50th day after the resurrection of our Lord Jesus; this is the Pentecostal Day we celebrate. It is our job to receive Holy Spirit of God into our hearts by inviting Him to take over our spirit. If you do that He will be inside of you all the time and you will never be alone and desperate. This is the plan of God not to leave you as orphans. So ask, seek, knock and try your best to receive the Holy Spirit anointing with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Jesus said,““If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognise him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.” John 14:15-18 (NLT)
