““Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:1-6 (NKJV)
Just like in Eden garden, we have only one commandment to obey, that is, to believe in Jesus, who again represents the Tree of Life. If you are not believing in Jesus, then you are choosing the Tree of good & evil. God’s commandments are always very simple to follow. But the rebellion in man makes it difficult for him to follow. Even now, we find a group of people, who are eating from the wrong Tree. Yes, there is some good in that lifestyle, but evil also persists, which will engulf them in the end.
“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” 1 John 1:5-10 (NKJV)
How many of us still making God a liar by not accepting our sins, humbling ourselves and being truly washed by Jesus’ Blood? Are we still singing with our lips? Matthew 15:3-9(NKJV) If we do not say from our hearts, we will be deceiving ourselves and truth will not be in us. But if we confess from our hearts and repent by not sinning anymore; God is merciful and gracious enough to forgive us, in Jesus. Romans 10:5-13(NKJV)
