Jesus said, ““No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”” Luke 8:16-18 (NKJV)
We have to hear the word of God, believe in our hearts and confess it for our faith to operate. Some of us receive a lot of things from God and only one thing or one area of your life things will not go as you think it should be going; then immediately start confessing,”I do not have” (which is not true). This will make a big difference in the spiritual realm in the wrong direction and things will go wrong in other areas of life too. This is where we should be very careful what we believe and confess. “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,” 2 Peter 1:2-3 (NKJV)
Jesus fed 5000 + people with 5 loaves & 2 fish: Matthew 14:13-21 Matthew 14:13-21(NKJV)
“Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.” Matthew 14:19 (NKJV)
The Lord Jesus wanted to feed the people, but the disciples had only a small amount of food in their hands. The disciples confessed that this little food would not be enough, but Jesus took whatever they had and blessed believing that was more than enough and acted in faith. This way of living should be our lifestyle. Whatever we already have in our hands we should lift upto heaven and bless them as Jesus, our Lord showed. Did any of you try? Many expect things to happen automatically with no contributions from their side, thinking it is God’s job to go on adding comfort. Or they make an easy way out doing by their own effort and not bother to wait on God to make way for Him to do miracles. Miraculous multiplication should happen with whatever little you already have with you. So let us confess always, “I have”, so that more can be added to us by God. Matthew 25:24-30(NKJV)
