”Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,“ Hebrews 2:14 (NKJV) ”He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.“ 1 John 3:8 (NKJV); Revelation 1:12-18(NKJV)
Parable of the wheat and tares: Matthew 13:24-30(NKJV)
In this parable Jesus is clearly explaining how the devil is operating now. Because the devil did not have any authority of his own, he puts his thoughts and lies into people and try to have his way into the world. And we should differentiate the Word of God and the lies of the devil and then operate accordingly. Otherwise we will be in trouble by doing all the works of the devil and end up in judgement as the parable describes. The Lord is allowing both the good works and evil works happen in this world right now, just as the wheat and the tares grow together. It is upto us to use the authority Jesus had given to speak to the enemy, stop his attacks and take victory in Jesus’ Name. Luke 10:18-19(NKJV)
Reaping the earth’s harvest: Revelation 14:14-20(NKJV)
”Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”“ Revelation 14:6-7 (NKJV)
In great tribulation time when all the saints leave the earth in Rapture the Gospel is still preached to all the people on the earth. See the grace and mercy of the Lord for people to repent: and some people receive and get saved, which is described as reaping of the earth with a sickle; and yet some do not agree or understand the message of the gospel and are punished by God’s wrath and killed. Let us not be those people who never bother to understand and know the seriousness of the conditions we are all put in, and are very careless about the salvation of their souls.
”For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?“ Hebrews 2:2-4 (NKJV)
