““Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.” Revelation 16:15-18 (NKJV); Matthew 24:42-44(NKJV).
Armageddon:
Jesus is coming at a time no one will expect, therefore we got to watch and pray expecting Him anytime. Revelation chapter 6 starts with the Lamb of God, Jesus, opening the seals and tribulation period starting on earth, many people are saved during that time and yet many hide themselves from the One, who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. In Revelation 13 Beast(Antichrist), false prophet and Dragon(Satan) will be making their havoc on earth and the people, whose name’s are not written in the Book of life, will be deceived by their false signs. Later in Revelation 14 Jesus’ end time harvest of souls will be happening and those who do not accept the Lord will be destroyed in the great winepress of God’s wrath. As the above verses in Revelation 16, the wrath of God will continue and people at that time do not repent, so they are gathered together to a place, called Armageddon, for war against heavenly armies.
““Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31 (NKJV);1 Thessalonians 4:16-18(NKJV); Revelation 6:12-17(NKJV)
Trumpet:
Jesus mentioned about the tribulation and the sun, moon and stars in the sky will be disturbed, when He comes to earth from heaven to collect the people, with a great trumpet sound, whom He had elected. Paul also had written to Thessalonians about the trumpet sound and gathering of saints in the middle of the sky, and that we should encourage each other talking about Jesus, our Saviour, who is going to come for His chosen ones, who are eagerly waiting for His second coming, purifying themselves without spot or blame to see Him face to face. This great day is definitely going to happen as prophesied by many prophets and saints that were written. Just as God could use the prophesies spoken and written to make Jesus’ First coming to die and rise alive from the grave; God will use these prophesies about Jesus’ Second coming and make it happen physically. Victory has been won when those prophetic words are spoken and written itself. God cannot fail, love cannot fail. Hallelujah!
