“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:19-23 (NKJV)
God is not angry with us, because the punishment of our sins went fully on Jesus. Now looking at the Cross we know the intensity of God’s judgment for sins. Many teachings are still going on to put the believers down in their spirit and feel unclean all the time by reminding them their sins. This makes the followers of Jesus not to receive the full benefits of the Cross of Jesus. We have to tell the nonbelievers about their sinful condition and lead them to their Saviour, but once they are saved, then all are made righteous in Christ Jesus. If we continue to insist on their sins then that might lead them to be self-righteous, which is the mother of all sins, and God is not at all pleased in this.
Jesus’ Blood cleanses our heart: Romans 5:17-19(NKJV)
Our conscience should not become evil thinking about sin all the time. Instead our conscience should be clean by the Blood of Jesus and go on thinking of His Righteousness constantly and go on receiving His gift of righteousness and live a clean Holy life with clean heart. This is the transformation of our hearts God appreciates which gives all the glory to His Son’s finished work on the Cross and it is jurisdictionally correct. Jesus is the Saviour.
Jesus’ Flesh cleanses our body: John 13:7-10(NKJV)
Jesus’ Body was also given up to be scourged before the Cross for cleaning our bodies too off all kinds of diseases, infirmities and pains. All of us should remember that the remedy, the medicines for our body ailments was Jesus’ Body and should receive healing and deliverance. Therefore remember very well when you eat the body of Jesus, it is the medicine for the diseases in our bodies and receive healing by faith. The doctors cannot heal your diseases: they only try their best to do from their part and in many cases they only sustain you till you are healed by God. Jesus is the Healer.
“But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” Hebrews 9:11-14 (NKJV)
