“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!””Mark 9:23-24 (NKJV)
Believe right and live right:
We should be praying like this father of the child, who cried out with tears, that the Lord help his unbelief. I think God is upset with us for not trying hard enough to come out of our unbelief. Why not try believing what the Word of God says, than all the lies that are rampant in this world; even among Christian community. This change of direction and heart from worldly way of doing things and Godly Way of doing things is required majorly. Our job is to build ourselves with the help of Holy Spirit to believe right and live right.
““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14 (NKJV)
You can do greater works:
Jesus is explaining to them how we can do greater works. It is by the Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We have to use His Name to get whatever we ask of Him. All bad things happen for us because of the enemy, the devil. Jesus’ Name has authority over all evil in this world because Jesus took victory over the devil and is now seated above all principalities, powers, might and dominion. So at the mention of Jesus’ Name the devil flees Philippians 2:9-11 .
So whatever your problem is, just command it to go in the Name of Jesus and believe in your heart that His Name has all the power and you can see your problem dissolve. If you fail at the first attempt, do not give up, speak and command for 7 times also because many examples we have seen in the Bible, the 7th time it had worked ( 2 Kings 5:14 ; Joshua 6:15-16). Not only 7times just go on commanding till your problems completely disappear.
It looks very simple but very effective. Your words have the ability to activate the spiritual realm and make the angels that are appointed for the children of God to go and do the works. So wait till the work, the angels are doing on your behalf, to complete. Do not stop half way and disable the angelic work. Many speak negative words to activate the demonic, which is more destructive than not saying anything at all. Be powerful children of God and help to expand the Kingdom of God!
