“Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.” Revelation 14:1-5 (NKJV)
We are at the end of End Times scholars say that we need to be heavenly minded. We should not be careless by focusing on our worldly routine and miss the Rapture and get into tribulation times unaware and not prepared. We have to teach our next generation that we should be prepared and be ready to help the Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God to be good witnesses for people to see. Matthew 24:36-39(NKJV); Luke 17:24-30(NKJV)
In the above mentioned verses we can see the qualifications of those 1,44,000 men Jesus redeemed from among other men on earth.
- These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins.
- These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes.
- These were redeemed from among men as first-fruits to God and to the Lamb.
- In their mouth no deceit was found.
- They are without fault before the throne of God. Hallelujah!
“Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 (NKJV)
So I pray a prayer like the above verses over mine and other children, generations to come, that they may be counted worthy to have a high calling to do the Will of our Father God and glorify the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and receive such grace in their lives, which will bless them forever and ever as very special people in the Kingdom of God here on earth, and be presented before the Throne of God in Heaven as first-fruits to the Lamb of God, singing the songs only they could learn and sing and be blessed eternally. Amen.
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Saviour, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1:24-25 (NKJV)
