The Laws Of The New Covenant By The Holy Spirit

Church was created by the power of the Holy Spirit coming on the disciples of Jesus Christ, 10 days after His ascension back to the Heaven on the Pentecost Day. Before going to the Cross Jesus had Holy Communion with His disciples saying that He is making a New Covenant in His blood. So we are definitely not in the Old Covenant any more, so new set of laws apply. They are — ‘The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ’ ( Romans 8:1-2)’, ‘The Royal Law of Love’ (1 John 4:9-11)(James 2:8-9), ‘The Perfect Law of Liberty’ (James 1:25), ‘The Law of Faith’ (Romans 3:27)and “The Law of Christ” (Galatians 6:1-5). These are the new covenant laws that God has written in our hearts and minds to follow diligently.

Our Citizenship Is In Heaven & We Eagerly Await Saviour Lord Jesus

Many stopped living a spiritual life and started completely striving and struggling to live earthly life, because of the situations they are in turned their attention away. Word of God is saying our citizenship is in heaven and so we should copy and live the life of the saints in the New Testament as Paul is urging us to follow him. He also mentions with tears that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ, setting their minds on earthly things which leads to destruction. Let our minds set on heaven from where our Lord and Saviour Jesus is going to come for us and to transform our mortal bodies into a glorious body like Him! Hallelujah!!

Be Spiritual People In Christ, Be Not Mere Humans

We, who are born again, we are now born of the Spirit, so we are spirit being. So we are to follow all the spiritual laws to have a victorious life. This is what Jesus Christ came to give us so that we can be like Him, like God, and we can communicate properly in the spirit. Paul also was teaching the same asking the followers to stop being worldly minded and start being spiritually minded. We are not mere human beings in God’s sight we are supernatural spiritual beings. When we believe right we will live right.

If The Son, Jesus Sets You Free, You Are Free Indeed

People are in addictions and are suffering or in some habits even though look harmless, but they are controlled by them and are slaves to these sins. They try their best on their own, but fail miserably and have no help from anyone. But the word of God says, if the Son, Jesus set them free, they are free indeed. No medicines or therapy can set you free, only your faith in the Son of God can surely set you free.

Among the Christians who go through many trials and tribulations quote the words Jesus said in John 16:33 saying, see even our Lord told us there will be difficult times, and stop with that. But the verse did not complete with that, whereas Jesus continued saying, be of good cheer, because He had overcome the world. By being cheerful you too overcome with Him and miracles happen and you are supposed to come out victoriously every time. Just going through the troubles till the end of your lifetime will be of no use to anybody. The Lord is pleased only with those who overcome and miracles happen by His power, so that His Father’s name be glorified.

Faith Is From The Heart, Not By Reasoning In The Brain

Many say that they have faith in the Word of God, but there will be no works of God done by them; because they reason in their mind using their brain and they think they have faith. But the true faith develops from the heart and that faith is confessed with the mouth, which produces good works and miracles. We all in our walk with the Lord should be very sure whether we have got that kind of faith. ”For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.“ James 2:26 (NKJV) We come to know if we have tremendous faith, is by the miraculous works we could do.

God Has Given Us Eternal Life, This Life Is In His Son Jesus

Our Gospel to the world should be, if we come to Jesus we will have eternal life, that is, immortality. Instead we gave an opinion that we should live a moral life and that is enough to have life here. This is why no one is interested in listening to us, saying even our religion is telling the same. We too never talk about a life after death, which is available only through Jesus. Because Jesus alone has immortality and He alone is able to give to those who believe. “Saviour Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,” 2 Timothy 1:10 (NKJV)

Doing Good & Suffering Is Commendable Before God

We are in the world, where people do all wrong things, yet demand justice, claiming as if it is their right to do whatever they want in this world, escaping all responsibilities and living a carefree life. But our Lord Jesus Christ set us an example to suffer doing good. We, as children of God, should make this our lifestyle to go around doing good, as the true followers of Jesus Christ. What is so great about being bad and ultimately getting punished? Yes, punishment is definitely following those who do bad things. But when you do good, yet you are punished and suffering patiently, this is commendable before God.

God Always Leads Us In Triumph In Christ Jesus

God wins always and if you are on God’s side in Christ Jesus, He will lead you in triumph. So we got to make sure we are doing what God wants us to do and do with the rules and instructions He has given in the Word of God. Many say it is not practical to do what God commanded to do, then such people cannot walk in triumph. God abides His own rules and He cannot help those who do not follow those rules and regulations. God is gracious and kind, but He will not encourage or tolerate unruly and ungodly behaviours. So the preaching of gospel is fragrance of Christ— aroma of life among those who are saved, and aroma of death among those who are perishing.

God Has Not Given Us A Spirit Of Bondage Again To Fear

Lot of things that are happening in the world make people to fear and nowadays only fearful news are spread all over the world. People go on listening and their hearts are troubled all the time and that is why many saints of God live a set apart, holy life from media, so that they can keep their hearts pure and bold meditating on the Word of God more and more. This way the spirit of fear do not take over them but the Spirit of power, love and sound mind dominate them, so that they can live a powerful and supernatural life, for God has not given us a spirit of fear.
