Whatever You Do, Do It Heartily As To The Lord

People wonder – now I am saved by the Lord and I want to please the Lord and serve Him – and they question themselves how can I do that? Should I leave all that I am doing in the world and start a new spiritual life? Yes, all have a special call in your life, God will surely speak to you and guide you; but till then, whatever you were doing when you came to the Lord, now start to do that very work heartily as to the Lord in words and deeds. This will definitely please God, will satisfy you and you will receive the reward from the Lord.

Old Covenant Went Obsolete When The New Came

Many born again, spirit filled children of God yet are not able to distinguish between the Old and New Covenants. They are still holding on to the old covenant which God Himself found fault, because nobody could keep them and moved on to the new covenant; in which God is providing solutions for our sin problem. Instead of demanding righteous acts from people He Himself providing righteousness and deciding to forgive and forget our sins, if we only believe in Christ Jesus. Glory to God alone for His grace and mercy! Let all of us move into the New Covenant God made with Jesus’ Blood completely and live a victorious life built on firm foundation, unlike shaky foundation if depended on us.

For Whoever Has, More Will Be Given

When we read the Word of God, how do we hear and receive matters. Some believe every word, but some believe half of the word. It is all upto us to receive the truth fully and say, “I have it.” Or receive a part of the truth and say, “I do not have it.” Lord Jesus asked everyone who came to him for healing, “What do you want from Me?” Then the person gave the request, then Jesus told, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” This explains somethings we do not receive not because the Lord did not give to you, but we did not receive by correctly confessing our faith. So whoever says, “I have” then more will be given to him/her.

Restful Life In God

We should not be workaholic or toil minded. We should know how to rest in God. Rest is not being inactive but be rest-assured in the finished work of the Lord God. We should never fear or worry along with the world about anything. God’s promises are true. Let the world say what they want, but we children of God rest in God’s word.

Holy Spirit’s Conviction Of Sin, Righteousness & Judgement

After resurrected from the dead and being with His disciples for 40 days, Jesus said it was good that He would go back to heaven; otherwise He could not send the Holy Spirit to be with us forever; who will convict us not only with sin, but also righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit was given on the Pentecost, which occurred 10 days after Jesus ascended to heaven, when five hundred followers watching Him going up in the clouds. Holy Spirit of God came to justify that, Jesus surely ascended to heaven and seated at the right hand of God, to send Him as He said.

We Are Unworthy Servants Who Simply Did Our Duty

Being sons and daughters of God is one thing, but being the servants of God is different. Once we practice to be sons and daughters of God, then it is easy to take the responsibility of being a servant of God. Being loved by our Father God, we can understand His heart and can execute the job that He has burdened us with. Because as a servant of God we can only do our duty and should keep our position realising our own unworthiness to the job. So we got to be humble and should give God all the glory, honour and praise. It is all about Jesus who is worthy to be praised.

Along With Jesus We Freely Receive All Things

We all get excited when something we get free. It draws our attention and we go for it. Do you all know the meaning of free gift? Do you know the truth is that you cannot buy the free gift with any cost? The shop keeper says you buy the other thing which has a price attached, to receive this free gift. So you cannot buy that gift but got to receive it. Same way, we cannot buy all material things but only get them free, if we have Jesus, the Son of God. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32 (NKJV)

Christ In You, The Hope Of Glory

Jesus said, “Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.” John 6:56 (NLT) The Lord Jesus Himself said that you remain in Him and He remains in you by just taking the Holy Communion. God made arrangement so simple to be in you. So remember every time you take communion and confess Christ remains in Me and I remain in Him. This is the hope of glory, Christ lives in you. Colossians 1:26-27.

Yes, God’s great love made us who were dead in our sins to be alive in Christ Jesus and put us in Him and made us sit spiritually in the heavenly places. This is the true position of a born again Christian. Every Christian should know the kind of inheritance we have in Christ Jesus. Because it is not our doings, but it is the done deal of Christ Jesus our Lord through God’s grace: so that no one could boast. We receive everything by faith and not by doing any good works.

The word of God says that we should walk according to the born again spirit; which will make you walk holy with the Holy Spirit, who is now residing in you. Yes, the Holy Spirit had taken residence in you so hear him and do as He says. We can all practice, because all the saints of the Lord did that and set their spiritual lives right.
