FOR A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORD AND NEW REVELATIONS
Whatever incidents are written in the Bible are there for our learning: that is why all the mistakes made by people were also written, so that we can learn from their mistakes. So one got to be careful not to do the wrong things written there, thinking since it is in the Bible it should be right. We should read the verses differentiating the right things and follow those only. These are written for you to have hope, may the God of patience and comfort grant you like-mindedness.
Children of God should not sin and should be just like our Father God. Sin will not have dominion over you, because you are not under law anymore, but under the Grace of God. Romans 6:14. But after all the power given to us not to sin by the Holy Spirit if we sin, God has given us an Advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous to plead for us. See how wonderfully the Lord God has protected us from all dangers of sin. Glory to His Name alone.
When we come into the Kingdom of God with Born Again experience our spiritual journey starts. This is the kind of life Jesus came to give to us. We become a spiritual being as God is spirit and even our worship to Him must be in spirit and truth. Jesus is explaining only these kind of worshippers the Father God, who is in spirit, is seeking for. But we were all diverted from this holy moments with God and entertaining us in the soul and body. Singing beautifully by not missing a note or dancing with beautiful movements will not please God, unless we are spiritually connected to Him also.
You may be wondering why I face lot of oppositions inside my own house, forget getting hindrance out in the world. The Lord Jesus clearly states, ““Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’” Matthew 10:34-36 (NKJV) Once you start walking according to your born again spirit, all hell breaks loose in your inner being as well as people around you, and particularly your own household members come against you. This is the Way the Lord has kept for each and every one, and we should learn to fight the good fight of faith.
Three things that concerns God and He wants His followers to do while we are under His authority; that is faith, hope and love. Among these three God’s emphasis is on love. We should not be in love with anything or anybody but should be in love with God. If our priority is to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength; then our life will be perfect as God wants us to be. “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV)
A set of instructions are written in the Book of Acts for the New Testament disciples to follow. It is also written there that the disciples were only called Christians (Acts 11:26). So if we got to enter into this New Testament covenant we have to do these 1 Repent from old-self 2 Take water baptism for remission of sins 3 Receive the gift of Holy Spirit 4 Separate from this perverse generation 5 Continue in Apostles’ doctrine 6 Have fellowship 7 Break bread 8 Pray. (Acts 2:38-42).
Wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. He catches the wise in their own craftiness and the Lord knows the thoughts of the wise and sees they are futile. 1 Corinthians 3:18-20(ESV) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. But God has chosen the foolish to put to shame the wise, God has chosen the weak to put to shame the mighty, and the base things and despised God has chosen, the things that are not to bring to nothing that are: So that no flesh should glory in God’s Presence. 1 Corinthians 1:25-29(ESV)
People try to build their self-confidence thinking they are the wisest person than anyone in their lives. This gives a kind of good feeling, but the truth is it develops into a personality, which is full of ego and end result is pride. Bible clearly says God alone is wise: so no one should think too much about himself, but be humble when you come to God. Jesus clearly told, that God alone is good also, so no human being is good on earth. Let this be clear to us. If we know this, we will not exalt ourselves above all or put anyone down speaking bad things.
Christ’s commission is our mission in this world. Whatever worldly work you may be involved in to have a living here on earth, we, the children of God have a command from our Lord Jesus is to complete the mission of being a good witness to many, by the life style we live and to proclaim the gospel of grace, to as many as possible in our life time. This is why you are still in this world after you got saved from sin and now living in righteousness. First of all you will have the joy of your salvation reflect in your face and you love to live a clean life to bring glory to your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. “Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Revelation 12:10-11 (NKJV)
God created everything we see around us with His Word, this Word was God in the beginning and this very Word became flesh, and walked on this earth He created in human form. Jesus came to His own, but nobody accepted Him and still many do not recognise Him as God. Till now no human being came any close to the majesty and power He had to live a holy life and to demonstrate miracles and He is still doing through His disciples: yet many vehemently refuse to believe and follow their own traditions. But the whole universe is held by the word of His power; for He came to give light, to anyone, from His radiance of the glory of God; and through His fullness we receive grace upon grace.
