Holy Spirit’s Conviction Of Sin, Righteousness & Judgement

After resurrected from the dead and being with His disciples for 40 days, Jesus said it was good that He would go back to heaven; otherwise He could not send the Holy Spirit to be with us forever; who will convict us not only with sin, but also righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit was given on the Pentecost, which occurred 10 days after Jesus ascended to heaven, when five hundred followers watching Him going up in the clouds. Holy Spirit of God came to justify that, Jesus surely ascended to heaven and seated at the right hand of God, to send Him as He said.

We Are Unworthy Servants Who Simply Did Our Duty

Being sons and daughters of God is one thing, but being the servants of God is different. Once we practice to be sons and daughters of God, then it is easy to take the responsibility of being a servant of God. Being loved by our Father God, we can understand His heart and can execute the job that He has burdened us with. Because as a servant of God we can only do our duty and should keep our position realising our own unworthiness to the job. So we got to be humble and should give God all the glory, honour and praise. It is all about Jesus who is worthy to be praised.

Along With Jesus We Freely Receive All Things

We all get excited when something we get free. It draws our attention and we go for it. Do you all know the meaning of free gift? Do you know the truth is that you cannot buy the free gift with any cost? The shop keeper says you buy the other thing which has a price attached, to receive this free gift. So you cannot buy that gift but got to receive it. Same way, we cannot buy all material things but only get them free, if we have Jesus, the Son of God. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32 (NKJV)

Christ In You, The Hope Of Glory

Jesus said, “Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.” John 6:56 (NLT) The Lord Jesus Himself said that you remain in Him and He remains in you by just taking the Holy Communion. God made arrangement so simple to be in you. So remember every time you take communion and confess Christ remains in Me and I remain in Him. This is the hope of glory, Christ lives in you. Colossians 1:26-27.

We Sit Together In Heavenly Realms With Christ Jesus

You may be surprised to see the title and wonder are we really were exalted to sit together with Christ Jesus? Yes, God’s great love made us who were dead in our sins to be alive in Christ Jesus and put us in Him and made us sit spiritually in the heavenly places. This is the true position of a born again Christian. Every Christian should know the kind of inheritance we have in Christ Jesus. Because it is not our doings, but it is the done deal of Christ Jesus our Lord through God’s grace: so that no one could boast. We receive everything by faith and not by doing any good works.

Jesus Came To Serve & Give Himself As Ransom For Many

People want to be served and like to boss over everyone. This is the mentality of the world we live in. It is rare to find people who are service minded. But the Lord Jesus came to serve and to give His life also. So He wants us, the children of God to be like Him. He says if you want to be great, then you become a servant or if you want to be first then become a slave. This way we develop humility because only through pride all strifes and quarrels come.

Jesus Died To Release People From The Fear Of Death

Many think God can never understand our problems and He is seated there and is unfairly judging everybody. No, God became flesh and blood to know our difficulties, suffered and was tempted like us, and yet He had destroyed the power of death caused by the devil; so that we are released from the bondage of fear of death. Fear of death is the main reason for all bondages. My aunt used to tell me as a witness that she was completely delivered from the fear of dying when she accepted Jesus into her heart and got saved. Yes, in salvation, when the Lord God comes in to reside within you as Holy Spirit, then you are never alone anymore and He will bring boldness and deliverance to you.

Sufferings Now Are Nothing Compared To The Glory We Receive Later

Many people have this question in their minds that I am a child of God and I am doing everything as the Lord Jesus taught, yet I face lot of problems than the people who are not following the Lord. Don’t be surprised because Christian walk is not easy, we will see everything and everyone coming against you all the time, as if you are going upstream. But the Lord is with us who had overcome this world already so we too will overcome everything ultimately. “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.” Romans 8:18 (NLT)

You Cannot Serve God & Mammon

What is the whole world is after? Money. But the Lord Jesus said that money becomes a Mammon – evil demon god, if you start serving it. That is right. Many are serving money: yes we need money to live in this world, so money should serve us. Money should not be the only thing that motivates you and occupies all your time, energy and life; if so, then that becomes an evil god to you. That is why the Lord said that you cannot serve both God and Mammon. You got to make the right choice.
