Any law is for our protection and for our safety only. If we abide in it sincerely we will definitely benefit. Many think law is restricting them and so get offended by it. Actually it gives us more freedom to go about in the social life if all co-operate. It is because many try to rebel out of frustration things get worse for everyone. God given perfect law is to liberate us from many bondages. Sin is lawlessness 1 John 3:4(NKJV)

Dead Sea – Sodom & Gomorrah
Dead Sea is where the sin cities Sodom & Gomorrah were. The report of the sin that increased so much made the Lord and 2 angels to come to see and later the angels helped Lot who was the only righteous person in the city to escape the wrath of God that showered upon them by brimstone and fire from heaven to destroy the whole place completely and kept as a symbol of God’s wrath on sinners. “For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:29 (NKJV)
Grace Of God Is As High As Heavens Above
We do not know how much we take light of the Grace of God that was showered upon us profusely. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His grace toward those who fear Him. (Psalms 103:11) Isn’t God good? We should be aware of this much of God’s Grace upon us and make sure we receive them everyday and in every situation and give God all the glory for everything and every good we receive.
Operate In The Word & The Power Of God
As a child of God we should know the Word of God, the Scriptures thoroughly. But just studying the Bible as a historical book will not profit anyone. We should believe that they were written by the inspiration of Holy Spirit and not by mere men. And also many sermons are available everywhere which are based on the wisdom of men that sounds so meaningful and enjoyable but profits nothing. We should put our trust equally in the power of God. Just like without power no equipment operates by only having the manual book. “For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20 (ESV)
Are We Tuned to Hear from God?
For some hearing from God, the creator may seem a strange thing. But for Christians to hear from God, Abba our Father is a privilege. We serve a God who loves to have a close relationship with us and longs to speak of all the plans and purpose for the Kingdom. Question here is are we tuned to listen to His voice? Is our life is so cluttered up and our spiritual ears are plugged up that we hardly pay attention to His call?
A Living Saviour For A Dying World
“God made it plain to man that He exists and He is Lord over all His Creation. God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from His creation, so men are without excuse. Although men knew God, they neither glorified Him as God, nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although men claimed themselves to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the Immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore God gave them over to the sinful desires of their hearts to every kind of wickedness and evil….. Men knew God’s righteous decree that those who do such wrong things deserve death, yet they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” Romans 1:18-32(NIV)
Jesus – The Promise Of God
Among the many promises of God the most important and precious promise is that He would give Jesus for us. “Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’ ”” Hebrews 10:5-7 (NIV) Jesus’ Body is the only sacrifice approved and accepted by God for sin.
If God Is For Us Who Can Be Against?
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.” Romans 8:31-34 (NKJV)
Human Excuses- Big Offences
Beware. Do not give excuses to do God’s work. You will be condemned forever. Many think doing worldly routines like studying, working and taking care of the family are big deeds in the eyes of God. Yes we got to do all these to live soberly in this world. Even the pagans do the same. Jesus would say, “Harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few?” Like 10:2( NIV)
Love Covers Multitude Of Sins
““Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4 NKJV How many Christians are deceived much by the message of grace thinking we can sin and get forgiveness from God just saying a prayer. The truth is we will not die physically but surely we die in the soul immediately, if we continue sinning. Of course the Lord forgives and forgets if we really repent and do not sin again. God’s love covers multitude of sins. You may be remembering your sin but God really forgets.
