FOR A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORD AND NEW REVELATIONS
There are Spiritual Laws to follow as there are physical laws. We all learnt lot of physical laws of Science in our educational system! To become Christians; we have to repent from sin, take water baptism and get the anointing of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. These are basic spiritual laws to obey; make sure you start with this good foundation in the Spiritual world to be spiritual people.
Could anyone imagine God coming against you? I guess nobody wants to be in that place; yet how many of us do things proudly to show off to our friends and relatives. And things won’t go on happening good, then wonder, why God is not helping! Your confidence about your abilities should not change into pride. So be not self-confident but put your whole confidence in God who alone is wise.
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3 NKJV This is the definition for Eternal Life which Jesus Himself had given. That is to know the only True God and Jesus Christ whom this God sent is Eternal Life. How can we know God and Jesus intimately? By reading the words concerning them in the Bible and making the Word back to the person who He is.
Why Believers are under the attacks of evil? First of all every one who says I am a believer check for himself/ herself whether he/ she really is. Jesus said if you are a believer these signs will follow you. “And He said to them, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”” Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
Receiving the Power of the Holy Spirit is the first thing Jesus advised His followers to do. He said, you would receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you would be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts1:8. So being Christians, our job is to get power from above to live a life witnessing for Christ Jesus. How many of us ever thought about this and pursued to do is a million dollar question! What are the 9 different ways the Holy Spirit of God is ministering to us? Let us see.
Jesus came to save and you have accepted his Salvation for you; then you and your household will be saved. What is Salvation? Being Born again in Spirit. Your spirit comes to life in Jesus which was dead in Adam. When you are born through your mother’s womb, you are born in flesh, but dead in spirit.“I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.” 1 Corinthians 15:50 ESV
How, by the disobedience of one man, Adam, death came to all men; same way, by the obedience of one man, Christ Jesus, the grace and gift of God, all men reign in life. (Romans 5:17) If you have received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour then you received everything you ever need in this world and the world to come.
I have heard people saying that they would not involve themselves into all these religious stuff. Because they got nothing to do with life after. But because you avoid and will not believe; can you be better off? There is a Heaven and there is a Hell for sure, which are real places we go to; either one of the places, after death. There is no place called ‘neutral’!
Nowadays people are so health conscious of the things they eat & drink and so fashionable about the way they look- make up, dresses and accessories they wear. Do you think in our own smartness we will be better off without God‘s help? Jesus said, do not worry and say 1. What shall I eat, 2. What shall I drink 3. What shall I wear? Because these things, He said, the worldly people, the unwise go after.
We should be able to divide our Bible properly by reading the verses in the Books so that we understand and use them properly. Our Christian Life starts from Book of Acts. Till the Book of John the Old Covenant was in existence because Jesus was crucified according to the Law and gave atonement for the punishment that followed after the Law was given. So New Covenant was given for us to follow after Jesus rose from the dead.
