We are on earth to do God’s plans. Everyone is created by God to accomplish something on earth that God wants. Or else once you are Born Again, you would leave for Heaven. Bible says Books are created for us and our days are all fashioned for us. Psalms 33:13-15(NKJV) Angels are appointed to help us by looking into our Books and supporting us supernaturally (Hebrews 1:14). We should know what we are supposed to do and make use of the resources available and complete our tasks.
This is what King David was saying, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvellous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skilfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.” Psalms 139:13-16 (NKJV)
Devil’s plan for us: 1 Peter 5:8-11(NKJV)
Many reject the fact that they are influenced by the Devil; but the word clearly says, “Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” I John 3:7-9 NKJV Devil’s plan to take us to Hell, so it is our job to stay, vigilant, clean and focused on the Lord.
We have plans: Philippians 3: 7-11(NKJV)
Having plans for ourselves is what the world calls the righteous thing to do; thinking they are avoiding sin. In that too you are not doing what God has planned for you to do in this world. Those days people were choosing what their talents and desires told them and did their work heartily. This at least had some benefits to the society. But nowadays parents choose what their children got to without finding out what the children’s natural talents and desires are. And that too for money and fame. In both ways, doing as you feel like, is not God’s plan in your life.
God’s plans for us: Ephesians 2:4-10(NKJV)
Jesus died for us and what are we doing to return the favour for Him? This is the question we were asked when we were Born Again. Nowadays no such commitments are made by people. Living for God is wise decision. You are made for eternity. Our trust and faith is our basic requirements to do the Plans of God. Life is a test and trust in God. We are only steward of all God has given us. If we put ourselves as centre of our plans nothing will go right. If we are too self-centred, we lose the guidance of the Holy Spirit, because we will not be able to hear His voice. We should hear from God the exact things we got to do everyday and do accordingly. This is what some say walking with God. Getting instructions and doing them to fulfil our destiny.
“Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.” II Corinthians 5:9-11(NKJV)
