“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2(NKJV)
Body made Holy, a Living sacrifice:
By the finished work of our Lord Jesus on the Cross, our spirit was made perfect as Jesus; but it is our job to make our body and soul holy by our own disciplinary work, fearing God and shunning from all the ways of the world. This is the least service we can do to the Lord in response to His love. You make sacrifices by not lusting after the flesh in food and fleeting pleasures, but submit to God totally pleasing Him. Get the power of the Holy Spirit to keep all His Commandments and bless the Lord. 1 John 4:17(NKJV)
“And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” 1 Peter 1:17-19(NKJV)
Soul renewed, transformed by mind:
All activities start from our mind, which is the soul part of you, in our thoughts. What we think will eventually manifest in action. So we should not think it is only my thoughts and no one will know and store up evil things. This is how mankind are deceived by the devil to think all kinds of evil thoughts and end up doing them, when things go out of their control. So we have to put breaks and close doors on the things we meditate on. Think good thoughts about us and others, meditate on the Word of God and say praises to God in the mind always. 2 Corinthians 2:11(NKJV)
“Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”” 1 Peter 1:13-16(NKJV)
Our life on earth should be entirely realigned according to the Godly principles by finding out His Will in us. We should not compare our lives with the worldly people and get upset or stirred up to compete with them. Live a let go life and focus on what are all the rules the Lord Jesus wants us to learn and follow dedicatedly to do them conforming with the Lord whether you are on the right path. Because the Lord had designed a particular job unique for each of us and we have to find that and train ourselves to do for God.
