Humility of Jesus even to the Cross:
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:5-8 (NKJV)
Jesus being God Himself decided to take up human form and come into this fallen world, full of evil people and full of filth, compared to heaven and it’s beauty. Not only that, but became a human sacrifice giving His whole body for the cruel sinners on earth; this is how Jesus lowered Himself. Many among Christians do not realise this sufferings and pains Jesus went through to save them, but settle for comfortable life here on this fallen world and if they are not comfortable they are complaining to Jesus. When we accept Jesus we are here to live a living sacrifice for Him to continue to do His work on earth, till He comes back to establish His Kingdom as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Exaltation of Jesus above all other names:
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11 (NKJV)
Yes Jesus was exalted by God over all Kings and Lords on earth and not only on earth but in heaven and hell too He has authority; and everyone’s knees to be bowed and tongues are forced to confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord and serve Him forever. Jesus is going to come again the second time on earth. This time not as a sacrifice but as the ruling King on earth. Many among Christians are not bothered to know, or wait for Him or make a way for Him. But this great event is definitely going to take place and those who are prepared and waiting for Him are going to participate in this grand finale. Others are left behind along with the world, who do not believe in Jesus Christ.
“Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”” Revelation 11:15-18 (NKJV)
