“For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”Romans 10:13-17 (ESV)
We should be going on hearing about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and about the Gospel, which means the good news, only then our faith will grow to the extent that we can make use of it to get anything from God. By faith alone we can please God. Hebrews 11:1-3,6(ESV) By faith alone we can be saved from hell to heaven. By faith alone we can receive miraculous healings to our bodies. By faith we receive the power of Holy Spirit. So everything in the Kingdom of God is through faith alone so we can call faith as the currency we need in the Kingdom of God.
Great Healings by Faith:
“Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.” Matthew 15:28 (ESV) There are measures of faith and Jesus says to some, great is your faith and to some, little faith. So faith can be increased and strengthened in a person according to the level he hears and practices the word of Christ. So the more you meditate on the word the more your faith level goes up.
Great wonders & signs by Faith:
“And Stephen, full of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people.” Acts 6:8 (ESV). Stephen was a man full of faith and Holy Spirit, so wonders and signs followed him. By faith alone we can live the supernatural life Jesus wants us to have. Without faith we cannot please God.
Great many added to church by Faith:
“And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.” Acts 6:7 (ESV). We are saved and added to the church by our faith alone. Without believing in the gospel and it’s truth but just being a member in a church will not save you.
“For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.” Romans 12:3 (ESV)
