“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:8 (NKJV)
God will provide for your needs:
We received the salvation of our souls and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to heal the sick, raise the dead, caste out demons everything free. You will be tempted to get something back financially, so that you can be happy that you didn’t spend time and energy for nothing. But we cannot attach a value for the good work you do, because they are very costly in values. Gospel we have to preach freely, without expecting anything back from the people you are giving. Then you might ask, then how shall I live and run my family, if I do ministries freely? That the Lord God our Father knows you need them and He will make sure you receive them, by sending some people, whom He has chosen and empowered with wealth to give it to you. Or you can earn your own provisions by working with your hands.
Paul wrote, “Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. I have shown you in every way, by labouring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”” Acts 20:34-35 (NKJV)
Apostle Paul earned by working:
Paul, the apostle, set an example to his followers, to explain that you should not depend on others and be burdened by financial problems, by doing full time ministry. If we can earn our own money, we can be of much help to many, who are poor and weak with you. Full time ministry does not mean that you should not work at all, even when you had leisure times or if you work, you are not walking by faith, believing that God will provide. Paul also explained that our Lord Jesus taught them saying, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Yes you will be more blessed when you make sure that you give to others than go on receiving.
The worldly people have become so selfish and cunning that they think they should make sure that they receive something out of everything they do and to everyone they associate with. Without any benefits coming out of the people and friends around them, they get disappointed, cut them off immediately and do not value them. But we, the children of God should not be conformed to the world and act so mean like that; our Lord Jesus went around doing good, the word says. without expecting anything back, but only to get the joy of seeing people blessed around Him and He is saying to you, “Freely you have received, freely give.”
