“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” John 1:1-5, 9-10, 14, 16 (ESV)
Grace upon grace:
God is still giving grace upon grace for the human beings to repent and find the ways of God by just receiving the light from His glory. Many have received His grace and come to know the God who created them. Glory to God! But this period of grace is going to end soon, how many of us did realise that? After the ascension of Jesus, the Church period where the grace of God is available to all who believe is for 2000 years the Word of God is saying; that means, 33 years of Jesus’ age plus 2000 years, we are nearing 2033 and it is only a decade away. So we can see how close we are to the end of grace period. Grace upon grace is available only for a short while more, so make haste and enter in. Hebrews 4:12-16(ESV)
“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Hebrews 1:1-3 (ESV)
God spoke to people through prophets who could hear Him for a period of time that extended 2000 years from Abraham, which was the ‘period of law’. This was before Jesus, God’s son came into the world to show directly His glory and reveal His characters, so that we receive Him and be delivered from darkness into His light. After Jesus rose from the dead and seated on the right hand of God, we have this ‘period of grace’ which is going to end too. Then a time is going to come when none can operate, the time of Anti-Christ. Definitely we should make sure not to be left behind. John 9:1-5(ESV)
“Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” And he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. And they will say to you, ‘Look, there!’ or ‘Look, here!’ Do not go out or follow them. For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.” Luke 17:20-24 (ESV)
