God alone is wise:
“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.” I Timothy 1:17 (NKJV)
Many so called wisemen were in the world like Solomon, but Jesus said He is greater than him because only God is wise. Matthew 12:42(NKJV) ; Luke 11:31(NKJV). This should be in our minds all the time to enable us to humble ourselves before God, and should not reason and argue with God’s words; we cannot understand the infinite God with our finite minds. God’s Word is final. Wisdom of men are foolishness to God. 1 Corinthians 3:19(NKJV). “Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.” I Corinthians 1:20-21 (NKJV) Only when we humble ourselves before God knowing who we are, we can receive anything from Him.
Jesus is wisdom:
“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—” I Corinthians 1:30 (NKJV)
God alone is good:
“So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.” Mark 10:18; Luke 18:19 (NKJV)
All of us think we are good and only the other people around you are bad, this is not right. God alone is good; so anything good should rub on you, come to Him: without Him on our side we have nothing good added to us. Let this be clear to us, that whatever good we have in us also came from Him only and nothing of us. So let us totally depend on God for our wisdom and for good work in us and through us. Philippians 2:12-13(NKJV) ; Romans 7:4-5(NKJV). “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
God is able:
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Saviour, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1:24-25 (NKJV)
