“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.” James 1:12-16 (NLT)
God rewards with the Crown of Life who endures temptation: 1 Peter 1:16-17 (NLT)
God blesses those who patiently go through temptations and overcome: not go under and lose. Tempting things are all around you; if someone makes you angry, you can decide not to be intimidated by that and reverse that emotion to loving that person and forgive. All can do that, if you walk by grace not talking about law-points. Receive love and grace from God and extend that to the person concerned; definitely you both will arrive at peace. Confess in your mind that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and walk holy as God is Holy.
God is never tempted or tempts anyone else: 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 (NLT)
Godly mind set is different from the worldly mindset. Jesus always thought of the future glory He was going to receive from Father God and overlooked and overcame and seated in God’s throne. We should not fight and lose over earthly gains and forgo heavenly blessings, which are eternal and forever is going to bless us. God will not tempt anyone, only the devil who goes around tempting people to sin. If it is a sexual temptation, you got to flee from that place without taking any chance in your flesh. Our flesh is weak, only our spirit is strong. Make your spirit stronger by eating spiritual food, the Word of Christ.
Temptation comes from desires giving birth to sin & death: 1 Corinthians 15:56-58 (NLT)
Temptation always comes because we allow — first in the mind, second it comes out of the mouth and then body acts accordingly. So all bad things happening in our lives are allowed and created by ourselves. God is not there for sure or the devil. Be careful and do not excuse yourself thinking it is either God’s doing or the devil’s fault. Take responsibility for all your actions, correct that as soon as possible before it takes bitter root in your heart, and pollute you. Your heart will darken, hurt your thinking and make you freeze in that position, not able to move forward.
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:12-14 (NLT)
