Everyone was created unique and their life also should be so different and unique. This is what our Lord God wants us to be. So we should learn to be content with godliness by what we have been given by God.“But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”I Timothy 6:11-12 (NKJV)
Godliness: 2 Peter1:2-4(NKJV)
Through the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ, His divine power has given us all things that needed for this life and godliness. We should be very sure that we walk in godliness and should not use for earthly gain. Even among believers many are still going after the uncertain riches than putting their trust in the living God; who gives richly all things for us to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17-19(NKJV) Yes, we have a loving Father in heaven to take care of us and we should know how to receive and enjoy what He has already planned to give to you only. He will not allow anyone to take away the blessings kept for you.
Contentment: Philippians 4:11-13(NKJV)
Apostle Paul was explaining how he learned to be content with his life. He learnt both to be empty, that is, to be abased, to go hungry and he also learnt to have full, that is, to abound in everything. He can do all things through our Lord Jesus Christ who gave him the strength. We should also learn to be like that to be content with what has been given to you by God. It is okay in serving God you may go through some difficult times, but God is with you. It is bad if you have riches but the Lord is not with you.
“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.” I Corinthians 15:19-24 (NKJV)
Come Lord Jesus!
