“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” John 14:23-24 (NKJV)
God Father and Jesus will make home with you:
We all should desire to receive the love of our Father God by keeping the Word of Jesus. And we have to make sure that we make way, so that Father God and Jesus come and dwell with us in our home. So if you are not keeping His Word, you do not love Him. Just saying and singing to God ‘I love you’ is not at all impressive to God. It is all about walking the talk and nothing else. How many of us trying our best? Yes it is very difficult and impossible sometimes, but the Lord God has given you the power to do like He did with the help of the Holy Spirit who resides in you. So if we do not try with God’s power and do, we are under terrible loss. 1 John 2:3-6(NKJV)
““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:15-18 (NKJV)
Jesus will pray for you to receive the Holy Spirit:
If our Father God is not residing with you, you will be an orphan. We should remember that. But if we keep Jesus’ Commandments, He is going to pray and God will give you the Holy Spirit; who will help you do all the Commandments which you otherwise cannot do. Our job is to keep all Jesus told us to do. I have found hundreds of dos and don’ts Jesus is saying which are given in ‘red letters’ all over the gospels- Matthew, Mark, Luke & John and Acts. Mark them down to practice and discipline yourselves. There are so many practical ways of doing worldly stuff which are beneficial to you and that would definitely please God also.
