“For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.”1 Corinthians 11:26-31 (NIV)
Jesus’ Body:
“When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfil what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”” Matthew 8:16-17 (NIV)
All who were punished by crucifixion were not beaten with whip at the time of Roman rules. Then why Jesus was whipped before He carried the Cross and many other ill-treatment he went through? They are significant to God to take up the stripes on Jesus body for healing our bodily ailment. Jesus himself took our weaknesses and diseases so that we need not carry. This revelation should come to us, then the healing will flow into us to receive complete wholeness. This everyone of us should receive to bless our Father who gave up His only begotten Son for us, and Jesus our Lord who bore every disease on His Body on the Cross. If we take this light and avoid these kind of teachings God will not be pleased and that is why suffering like weaknesses, sicknesses and death are still there as a judgement from God.
Jesus’ Blood:
“This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:5-7 (NIV)
Same way Jesus’ pure Blood was shed in many ways and in many places for the remission of sins. Jesus’ Blood was shed in the garden of Gethsemane while praying, when Thorn of Crown was places on His head, while He was whipped, on the streets carrying Cross, when the nails pierced His hands and legs, and finally when a soldier pierced His heart with a spear after He died. All of the shed Jesus’ pure Blood washed away our sins and purified us once for all. So those who are in Christ Jesus should not be sin-conscious but should be righteous-conscious by the Blood of Jesus. This revelation will remove our sinful nature off us and make us walk in purity. Let us all receive these blessings from heaven and honour the Lord Jesus Christ for His Holy Sacrifice.
