There is only one true living God that is the God of the Bible; God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Do you know printing machine was invented to print Bible? The first Book ever printed was the Bible. So we should read the Bible than any other book in the world. Find God—Father, Son and the Holy Spirit working together in the Bible. Work on finding God, not just do religious activity, and get to know Him personally. This will make you live and act for Him.
1) GOD THE CREATOR
God is the one who created you and me. Bible talks about how He did it. (Genesis 1:1) The Holy Spirit was hovering over the earth. God spoke and the Words were Jesus. (John 1:1) God gave full authority to Man. (Genesis 1:28) Man gave it to the Devil. Immediately we can see God in action saying the seed of the woman ( Jesus) He will bring to bruise the Devil. (Genesis 3:15)
2) GOD IS LOVE
God had to stop man to live forever in this fallen state (Genesis 3:24). If man get hold of tree of life he would be living in sicknesses and failure forever. This was for our own good He did that. We seem to interpret the God in the old Testament as God who is very inconsiderate. No He is not.
3) GOD NEVER LEFT OR FORSOOK
God kept contact with man all along though he was fallen. God came searching for Adam, warned Cain about the sin he was going to commit (Genesis 4:7), walked with Enoch and took him to heaven, showed favour to Noah and asked him to make an Ark to save he and his family. God was just like a parent with elderly children kept the relationship going, but many rebelled against God.
4) GOD OF JUSTICE
God thought of destroying the whole creation with mankind in a flood, but Noah was good and listened to God (Genesis 6:22) For that one man God changed His plan. God gave 100 years till Noah built the ark for all men to repent. Noah from 500- 600 years old he preached about the coming flood and no one listened. Only then God sent the flood. Here we see God as a just judge.
5) GOD THE RESTORER
God worked hard to make His Will to be done i.e. to bring Jesus into the world. He knew by ourselves we cannot find God or know Him. God chose Abraham from the very place where Adam was created, present Iraq. We still see 2 of the 4 river running as were in Eden Garden in Iraq, the Euphrates and Tigris. Historians say one river dried up in Saudi Arabia and Karun river in Iran connects all to the Gulf. Abraham had the same DNA he needed to bring Jesus. He made his generation a great nation and put them in the Land of Canaan. Israelites were given strict law so that there would be a Virgin to bring Jesus. God is not angry as it looks, he had a purpose. God made eternal covenant with these people.
6) GOD’S SUPERIORITY.
God gave Moses the law. God wanted to show man His Standard of expectation by giving the Ten Commandments. Till then man did not know about sin. Now man saw God as superior being and started running away from God. Only Moses was ready to talk to God. Only after this we can see God punishing people for their rebellion.
7) LORD GOD IS JESUS.
There are so many places the Bible says as GOD told us and THE LORD said. Here in all the rituals God made them follow, we see Jesus – as the Passover Lamb, Lamp, Bread and the sacrifices. God used Many Prophets to prophesy about things to come. Holy Spirit of God came upon these people and they prophesied. (Luke 24:25-27) God showed visions and dreams even to Pagans like Nebuchadnezzar and Pharaoh. Someone got to speak things to happen in this world. Because word is power. That is why Prophets prophesied all about Jesus from Birth to Death. Jesus prophesied about his Resurrection by using Jonah’s example.
8) GOD THE FATHER
In Jesus time we see God testifying Him as His beloved Son. (Matthew 3:16-17) Here we see God speaking from heaven, Holy Spirit of God descending on Jesus standing in the water. Later we do not see God said or the Lord said so, we see Jesus’ saying, I say and My Father says.
9) GOD BECAME MAN
Jesus finished the work on the Cross and redeemed all the authorities back to Himself what the devil stole from Adam and became the Second Adam. The perfect man God created and His sacrifice saves us all. Therefore only when we believe in Jesus we will be Born Again as a new creation and have the privilege to enter into this eternal life He provides. When man sinned he died spiritually so got to be Born Again in Spirit. If we are not Born Again we are dead spiritually. (John 4:24)
10) GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
After Jesus was taken up to heaven Holy Spirit of God is given to us to help us live this eternal life. Now Holy Spirit is magnifying Jesus and God through people. Our job is to prophesy whatever he reveals to us. We need to prophesy the Second Coming of Jesus till He comes and other things to come to pass supporting the Holy Spirit.
Now we see the Triune God at work everywhere in the Bible. GOD IS THREE IN ONE. Jesus is God in the Flesh and Holy Spirit is God in the Spirit so Father is God in the Soul who masterminded the whole operation of Salvation. Many things God revealed to me like these in my spirit. Glory to God! In these last days too many rebel against God. They say we can stand on our own righteousness and we do not need any Saviour. This is what the response of man from the time the Law was given. Mankind started keeping the Law and tried to show that they are good people, even to God. Mankind never want to come under GOD’ GRACE, forgiveness of sins and get healed. They embrace LAW. So two groups of people we see in these last days.
1. Carnally minded II Timothy 3:1-5, 7-9(NKJV)
2. Spiritually minded Acts 2:17-21(NKJV)
Let us examine ourselves and find out in which group are we. JESUS says let him who is unjust and filthy be so still and let him who is righteous and holy be so still. (Revelation 22: 10-14). And that HE IS COMING AGAIN SOON.
