God’s Words are the guidance for our spiritual life here on earth. We should know them well and we should follow them in our hearts and in our minds to walk worthy of our Lord Jesus. He has set us an example as He came as man setting aside his divinity. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men.” Philippians 2:5-7 NKJV
We should follow His way of praying, miracle working and healing and do likewise. We think He was God so He did those things and we are humans so we cannot. Wrong. Jesus was born as a human being, baptised in water and anointed by the Holy Spirit and with the help of God’s power and instructions He got, He did everything. That’s why He encourages us saying….,
““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” – John 14:12-13 (NKJV)
We should fill our minds and hearts with the Word and communicate with the Holy Spirit who is living in our hearts to get help and guidance constantly and do accordingly. This is how a Christian life should be; not act like the worldly people who are spiritually void.“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
Only when you have transformed your mind according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, you will know what is the Will of God in your life. You should be acting like Jesus in this world for the Kingdom of God to be established fully and quickly. If we, the so called Christians, do the above in our day to day life constantly remembering His Will for us and purify ourselves, we can bring the Rapture and Second Coming of God quickly and start living in a Perfect World, which Jesus died to give you.
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” II Peter 3:10-13 (NKJV)
The above verses tell us that we can hasten Jesus’ Coming back for us by being holy in conduct and godliness. So many things are in our hands. God is waiting on us brothers and sisters. Let us do our best and bless the Lord Jesus who is worthy. Let us forget settling well in this world but act like passersby and concentrate on the Kingdom of God to come and His Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven; for God’s is the Kingdom, Power and Glory forever and ever. Amen.
