List of things to meditate:
“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)
Make sure you meditate that you are blessed only and not cursed, so expect only good things happen to you. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14 (NKJV) The Lord is with you and inside you as Holy Spirit, then how can things go wrong? Wonderful scripture verses! Everyone of us must memorise and keep so that we all will know what to think all day long. Word of God is saying to meditate about, whatever is —
- True
- Noble
- Just
- Pure
- Lovely
- Good report
- Virtue
- Praise worthy
You should meditate and imagine all positive and good things mentioned above only. Remember only positive things about yourself and the people around you overlooking the negative. Keep in remembrance of all wonderful incidents in your life and try to forget all bad incidents. Imagine all good things for your future and expect them to come to pass. Because there are so much lies, ignoble, unjust, impure, hatred, bad reports, vile and slandering things you see in the news from the media. Actually these happenings are very less compared to all good things happening all over the world. Yet only negative and bad things are highlighted. Be careful not to watch these programs which will pollute your thoughts and imaginations. What you imagine is the strong force which will manifest in your life.
Love life and see good days:
“For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.”1 Peter 3:10 (NKJV)
“If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.” James 1:26 (NKJV)
In time of contingency whatever you are meditating and imagining, those pictures in your heart come out of your mouth knowingly or unknowingly affecting your life. This is the test to find out what are you meditating on. Many people are perplexed not knowing how to control their lips from speaking evil. Very simple, you stop watching wrong programs and stop imagining wrong things but do the opposite. Then you will be surprised to see your speeches are great and when you are disturbed by bad news only faith rises up and good expectations come flooding in.
Jesus said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:15-18 (NKJV)
