“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7 (NKJV)
Whatever you are aiming for in life you have already got in Jesus. The thought that we do not have enough and we do not achieve anything enough, is not from God. It is the devil’s lie to you. The devil tries the same trick he tried from the beginning. You should know, that in Christ Jesus, God provided everything for you to have in this life and the life to come. Our job is to concentrate on the Lord and walk with Him getting His guidance to have it fully.
Everything starts from the way you think. “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV) So what are the things we meditate on, matters. It is our job to think and meditate all good things that happened to us, all the good God had promised for us and have all the hope of getting all of that by all means. This is the inheritance of a child of God. This is our Born Again Right. God promised us everlasting life full of the best things in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”John 14:27 (NKJV) You should go on trying to attain this peace Jesus had already released in your favour. This is the main thing any Christian should achieve primarily. Keep your heart at peace and meditate on thinking right.
Paul said “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9 (NKJV)
- Rejoice in the Lord always.
- Do not be anxious about anything.
- Meditate on things that are- true, noble, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtue, praise worthy.
Many of our problems will be solved when we listen to these instructions from God and we will live life full of joy and peace inside out. Then we can pass on this to others around you too! Glory to God!
