“Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you. Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress. Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.” 1 Timothy 4:14-16 (NLT)
Our own salvation and the salvation of those who are appointed for us by God depend on the way we fire up the anointing of the Holy Spirit that is imparted to us by laying hands of the anointed leaders God has graciously given for us. It is our job to pursue and operate in our spiritual gifts.
Fan into flames the Spiritual Gifts given to you:
“This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:6-7 (NLT)
During this Coronavirus period, the devil did his big obstacle to stop the passing on the anointing of the Holy Spirit by banning to touch or come closer to another person. So at home the head of the family’s responsibility is to take authority at home and lay hands on the children and impart the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If anyone in the family is not saved yet, pray in tongues laying hands over them when they are asleep and also on the things they use. The evil spirits should flee.
Fight a Battle with the Prophecies spoken over you:
“Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.”
1 Timothy 1:18-19 (NIV)
All of us can prophesy and should prophesy the word of God over our family members and small group members; so that right words should be spoken over each individual, the words which are from God and negate all the lies the devil is putting on people when they go into the world. We should hold on to the prophecies spoken over us, remember them and make a war against the evil one. These are the ways families can survive and thrive in these last days.
