Take heed that the light in you is not darkness:
““The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matthew 6:22-23; Luke 11:34 (NKJV); “Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.” Luke 11:35 (NKJV)
You are supposed to be strict in what you are watching in your mobile and television. There are many things connected to darkness are presented as good even in the children’s cartoons and advertisements. All kinds of demonic figures are made as characters in the cartoons, so much so that the children might encounter any demonic spirit and they might not find it odd. Advertisements are saying all kinds of bad characters as normal and virtue. We are living in a time where deception is rampant. So make sure that the light you have in you is not darkness.
Blessed are your eyes that see:
“But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.” Matthew 13:16-17 (NKJV)
Blessed are the eyes which search for good things about the first coming of our Lord Jesus and the good news preached through true sincere men and women of God in the television and internet. The gospel, is the only good news available in our time and patriarchs of the old wanted to see and hear and could not have; but we are the privileged generation which the Lord Jesus Himself is explaining in His own words. We should make use our time and energy to receive and to share with others the too good and true news of our salvation in Christ Jesus. This should be our lives priority.
Let your light shine before men:
““You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV)
Jesus is depending on us to do the work of spreading this gospel— the good news, to make it reach as many souls as possible in our life time. If we are carelessly procrastinate we will end up doing nothing for the Lord and will stand in the presence of God after this life in shame.
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”” John 3:17-21 (NKJV)
