“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:50-57 (NKJV)
Strength of sin is Law:
Failure in keeping Law makes it stronger and impossible to fulfil. Basically Law was given by God through Moses to tell the world that His standards are so high and nobody can keep it. But men started to keep them trying to impress God and even till date people try to do that irrespective of any religion. This act of people trying to live a moral life according to their own standards in their minds does not please God then and even now. People should realise this is impossible to do and that the result is only curses they receive from God. Galatians 3:10(NKJV)
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV)
Strength in weakness is Grace:
Victory by Grace through Christ Jesus our Lord who did not come to destroy Law but to fulfil them and be the representative for all mankind. Matthew 5:17(NKJV) Through Adam all failed but through the last Adam, Jesus Christ all received the Grace of God if one could only believe. “And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” 1 Corinthians 15:45-49(NKJV) Glory to God. Paul tried his best to do everything right according to God but gave up when the Lord Jesus taught him how to live carefree life depending totally on God’s strength in all his weaknesses. God’s grace is more than enough for all those who believe on the finished work of Jesus Christ for our righteousness and God’s abundant supply of Grace to reign in life. Romans 5:17(NKJV)
“Therefore, as through one man’s offence judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover the law entered that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:18-21 (NKJV)
