“But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” Ephesians 2:4-6, 8-9 (NLT)
God is rich in mercy: Romans 9:22-24(NLT)
When mankind was dead in sin and in their trespasses and no one sought God or knew how to communicate with God and lost their orientation, God came searching for them. It is all God’s loving plan to redeem us and He did everything for our best to keep us equivalent to His son Jesus. In this He showed His great love for us. We should always remember that God loves us no matter how far we have fallen or how bad the situation we are in.
God is exceedingly rich in grace: Titus 3:4-7(NLT)
God showed His exceeding riches of grace by delivering His only begotten son on the Cross in our place. Jesus came as grace of God and endured the sufferings on the Cross. God not only showed mercy for our trespasses but also showed His grace, that is unmerited favour, to all who receive by faith, to be seated in heavenly places with His Son Christ Jesus. It was all God doing for us and we could add nothing to it because we have nothing good in us.
God is rich in kindness: James 1:17(NLT)
God’s attributes are described in many forms for us to understand the depth of His loving kindness to us. Yet how many of us understand God and have good relationship with Him. Many blame God for everything that is going wrong in this world. When things go right people think it is their achievements and when things go out of their hands and go wrong immediately it is God’s doing, as if God is the bad person. Entirely wrong, the opposite is the truth. All good happenings are because of God and things go wrong because of choices made by people or the enemy, the devil behind it. God has nothing bad in Him to give to you.
“When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” Ephesians 3:14-18 (NLT)
