Heaven is under God’s control, but Natural World is to be controlled by Spirit filled believer’s like us speaking GOD’S WORD. Our word is the power that you need to get things in our lives. We must learn how to use our words more effectively. The Right Words you speak, either give you good things and set you free or wrong words, get you bad things and put you in bondage. We have all done this at one point of life or other. We have said right words and got good things. Said wrong words and got bad things. Jesus said out of the abundance of your heart, the mouth speaks!
Bible describes our natural tongue as in James 3:6 (ESV) “And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell.” Tongue is fire from hell so it works against us! But God purified our tongue by giving Tongues of fire came from heaven by sending the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Let us read Acts 2:3-4 (ESV) “And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.” In Acts 1:8(ESV) Jesus said, you shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. Now by receiving the Holy Spirit anointing, we are given a new tongue, tongue of fire from heaven. But we got to practice speaking in tongues well to make it work for us! WORD + WORD OF GOD, TONGUE + TONGUES OF HOLY SPIRIT = WE HAVE SUPER POWER, WE ARE SUPERNATURAL BEING.
Our job is to prophesy God’s Words, Positive Words, on our life, on our children, on our circumstances, on our health. on our dreams & plans. JESUS illustrated in John 11:8-44(ESV) how to get positive results for your words by bringing Lazarus alive from death – simply saying – “Lazarus come forth.” Lazarus, who was dead for 4 days came out alive from the grave. JESUS also showed in Mark 11 Mark 11:12-14(ESV) how negative words bring death to the fig tree. He did not curse it, said only negative words – “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And the fig Tree withered off from the root. In the same way –
Positive words – Faith filled words, Agree with Word of God – Healing, Riches, All things possible.
Negative words – Fear filled words, Agree with Devil’s Lie – Sickness, Poverty, Nothing possible.
When we speak to one another if we say good things that happened to us, nobody wants to listen to us. If we say what bad things happened, people will hear; so we also end up grumbling and complaining more. But those negative words bring more bad things to us which we do not realise.
Jesus said speak to the mountain. The mountain is your problem. Speak that to be removed and believe it did. “And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.”Mark 11:22-23 (ESV)“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”Proverbs 18:21 (ESV). Who loves death? Let us love life.
