Prayer of salvation:
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”” Romans 10:9-11 (NIV)
Never too late to call on the Lord. In any time of life you realise that Jesus is the only true God and Saviour you can receive His salvation and it is available to anyone. You ask Jesus to come into your heart and be enthroned in your heart to be with you forever. Every human being has a hole in his or her heart which is meant for Jesus. All feel empty in that place and are trying to fill in with other people or material things but end up disappointed. Because your lover or your lovely house or car is not going to satisfy you. So realise the need for God in your heart and accept Jesus as soon as possible.
When you accepted Jesus in your heart He comes as Holy Spirit and resides in you and be with you all your life time and the time you got to leave this place earth and go into eternity He will take you to His place. How wonderful that journey will be with Jesus as your friend and companion. You enjoy Jesus and He enjoys being with you too. He loves to be in you, guide you and comfort you. I have my testimony of Jesus living in me all my lifetime where I talk to Him all the time and He talks back. I ask things in my heart and Jesus answers them openly.
You heard about Jesus and His grace of saving you, yet you refuse Him continuously even when He is speaking to you through many people. If you are keeping your heart empty and not allowing Jesus to reign. Your condition will be like the person Jesus was talking about in the following verses.
Jesus said, ““When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”” Matthew 12:43-45 (NIV)
Today is the day of salvation:
“As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (NIV)
