There is tribulation in this world:
““If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” John 15:18-19 (NKJV)
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”” John 16:33 (NKJV)
Jesus said there will be tribulations in this world. So do not be surprised to see things coming against in your lives, even though you did everything right according to the Commandments of the Lord. And Jesus also said that we should be of good cheer in these situations because He had overcome the world; so we should also overcome with Him and be victorious. Because we are fighting from the victory position which was given to us by the Lord God. Jesus also went through sufferings and even descended to hell to receive the glory, by which He had received salvation for us all and to sit at the right hand of God. So we are also given this opportunity to follow Jesus through difficulties to enjoy with Him in glory. Romans 8:18(NLT)
Faith remains strong in trials:
“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honour on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.” 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT)
Our faith is tested by fire through tribulations and trials. We can exercise our faith, the gift of faith which is from the Holy Spirit, only in bad times; there is nothing to do but praise the Lord in good times. In God’s Kingdom everything works through faith as currency does in this world system. So we have to be built in our faith and these bad times help us to hold on to our faith which gets stronger eventually. If we endure and overcome all the bad things happening to us by faith, then we get rewarded on the day of the Lord Jesus. Jude 1:20-21(NKJV)
