“Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”” Luke 12:51-53 (NKJV); Matthew 10:34-36(NKJV).
When all the members are saved and set free from the evil one, then things might settle down and there will be harmony. That is why it is our job to save souls left, right and centre! The Way the Lord Jesus kept for all is different from the world goes after. This is how you know that you are in the Lord for sure. Glory to God! The true peace on earth will happen only when Jesus comes physically for the second time as King of kings and Lord of lords and reign on earth from Jerusalem, where His feet will touch the Mount of Olives from where He ascended to heaven also.
Jesus’ Ascension:
“Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.” Luke 24:46-53 (NKJV); Mark 16:19(NKJV) ; Acts 1:9-11(NKJV).
Jesus’ Second Coming:
We meditate on Jesus’ Resurrection more than His Ascension which is equally important event that took place. Only then we can explain what happened to His resurrected body that left the tomb which is empty now. And also we can clearly understand the same way He went up into the heaven he is going to come back as King of kings and Lord of lords, triumphantly with the Army of the Heaven. Hosanna! Hosanna! Revelation 19:11-16(NKJV)
“And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.” Zechariah 14:4 (NKJV); Zechariah 12:10-14.
