“What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” James 4:1-3(NIV)
You covet, so you quarrel and fight:
Fighting and quarrelling happen because of the desires within each person. Desire is not satisfied then you try to kill for not getting that. Don’t you see this is what is happening in the crimes committed in the world. You covet looking at the advertisements on the media and see other people possessing something which you could not afford. Solution is if you desire anything or want anything others have, you go to your Heavenly Father and ask for that, sometimes you might be having the money too in your hands, yet you place them into God’s attention and get from Him.
“When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.” James 1:13-16(NIV)
God cannot be tempted or tempts anyone with evil:
See now how temptations come to a believer, not from God to you, but all of us are tempted by evil desires that are welling up from us only. When evil desires conceives, get into to your system, it produces sin, then when is fully grown, gives birth to death. All sin connected things lead to diseases and death, so got to be very careful and cut the process off from the budding stage itself, if you are wise. Do not say why God is not helping after you let go off yourself to these difficulties by your own doing; or blame people around you, definitely they are also not the reason for you to be in these situations.
So even when you are in that kind of situations there is hope in God. All you got to do is ask God to come and deliver you by humbling yourselves before Him. Do not harden your heart saying, “I can manage” If you humble yourself in the Mighty Hands of God, He will lift you up (James 4:10) Jesus said, “For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”” Luke 14:7-11(NIV)
