“Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:28-31 (NKJV)
Trample the Son of God Underfoot: 1 Timothy 6:13-16(NKJV)
Of all the gods’ and goddesses’ names, our Lord Jesus’ Name is the only name which is profaned in the secular world and even used as ‘curse word’. The ones who are disrespecting the Name of Jesus – in which Name there is power to heal the sick, to rise the dead up, and demon’s flee from demon possessed people – do you think, these who trampled Him under their foot will escape without punishment? No. Jesus is the only Potentate, King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honour and everlasting power. Amen.
“Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Psalms 2:10-12 (NKJV)
Counted Blood Covenant as common thing: Luke 22:14-22(NKJV); 1 Corinthians 11:27-30(NKJV)
Fear of the Lord and the sacrament of His Body and His Blood should be there for followers of Jesus. We cannot make anything of Jesus and His Words as common thing, if we do we suffer sickness and even death, the Word of God is saying clearly.
““And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!” Luke 12:4-5 (NKJV)
Insulted the Spirit of Grace: John 1:16-18(NKJV)
Moses came to give Law of God but Jesus came as Grace and truth. So if we insult the Spirit of Grace we will not escape the punishment. But many believers are law minded and they overlook grace or they think it is not right to show grace to those who are around them. We should be very careful what we are saying and doing. We should be afraid of the wrath of the Lamb of God, the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
“I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”” Revelation 6:12-17 (NKJV)
