Keep the Unity of the Spirit in peace: 1 Peter 2:9-10(NKJV)
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” Ephesians 4:1-6 (NKJV)
Having to go to different churches and denominations should not hinder us in our walk with God or ministering in our callings. Everywhere the Bible, the Word of God is the same so we can all understand the mission that is in our hands and do with the help of the Holy Spirit. Cooperation with the Word and the Holy Spirit is the only thing needed and we can all agree with one accord what was instructed to us. There is only one Lord and Saviour, our Lord Jesus and one faith, one baptism, one God who is Father of all. So let us come together to stand for each other and fight for each other: because we have an enemy, the adversary the Devil to fight.
Mature to be a perfect man in the fullness of Christ Jesus: 1 Corinthians 3:1-3(NKJV)
“till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:13-16 (NKJV)
A Christian should not stay spiritually in the baby state, not knowing the Word, because you never read and understood the true doctrine, written with so many words and illustrations. Even in the physical terms, if a baby is not growing you all know that is malfunction and something is terribly wrong. Whereas in the spiritual life many are babes and need pampers and pacifiers; and nobody notices, forget that, those themselves do not realise their conditions! Because of this many are deceived and are burdens on the Body of Christ Jesus. We, the many parts of the Body of God should be acting well as the Head, who is Christ Jesus. Amen.
