All the Law & the Prophets hang in this: Matthew 7:12-14(NKJV)
“But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”” Matthew 22:34-40 (NKJV)
Read the Bible to know God and to start loving Him more and more; because He communicated with God- fearing people, who heard His voice and obeyed, so in that process help our human race bringing Jesus, His Son into the world. Some read about Abraham, Job and David in the Bible and connect their lives to them. This is of no use at all. Many read the blessings in the psalms only to get worldly blessings, and others read prophet Isaiah to get some directions, for again all about worldly life. Many think getting physically comfortable here on earth is why we do religious activities. Not at all true. As our Lord Jesus explains above, your job is to know God, to understand who He is and what Jesus has done for you and have relationship with Him as children, be God’s family members, who love to take responsibilities with all that you are.
This is more than all the whole burnt offerings & sacrifices: Mark 12:32-34(NKJV)
Live a life style of giving offerings of praise and thanks giving as sacrifices to our Lord God with all your heart, understanding, soul and strength. Do not stop while worshiping and singing songs alone. Let us not make any other person or thing as idol, which God hates. We all need to be very careful in adoring our Lord God alone with total attention on Him and Him alone. God is in Spirit now, so you worship Him in spirit and truth praying in tongues as the Holy Spirit directs. John 4:23-24(NKJV)
Do this and inherit eternal life: Luke 10:25-28(NKJV)
Jesus taught us that knowing God and Jesus whom He has sent is eternal life. He also said that we should not be satisfied by just reading the Word, which describes about God; but we should go to Him personally and have a very good relationship with Him to have eternal life. This is so simple once you practice and connect yourself to His magnificent presence, which is available to all, at all times. There is no partiality in Him. You will find a loving friend, brother, Father and companion in God. John 17:3(NKJV); John 5:39-40(NKJV)
You have left this First Love: Revelation 2:4-5(NKJV)
Many of us who had started well in love with God are now distracted, deviated and lost our first love for Him; this is what the Lord is explaining above. God is patient and loving, but if we do not repent quickly and correct ourselves, He will not be pleased to find us far off from Him, when He comes to meet us.
““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV)
