Make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon: Matthew 25:31-46(NKJV)
Jesus said, ““And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?” Luke 16:9-11 (NKJV)
We see in the world people making use of friends to gain money. But the Lord Jesus is saying use unrighteous money to gain friends!! The people got it all wrong and reverse to what the Lord God expects of them. For the Lord people, whom He created and redeemed by His own Blood are more precious than money. Let this attribute of Jesus be known to all to warn us to treat people right giving them the dignity they deserve. Rich people should make sure we do all the charity works showing mercy by visiting personally to those who are in need of necessities, who are in hospitals and jails giving the gospel to them also.
Be faithful over the least to rule over many things: Matthew 25:14-30(NKJV); Luke 19:11-27(NKJV)
“His Lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’” Matthew 25:21 (NKJV)
“And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’” Matthew 25:30 (NKJV)
As we saw Lord Jesus gives a parable to describe, how he tests people of their credibility by giving them small tasks or gifts to see, if you are sincere in them and making the best use of them blessing God, who gave. Then big responsibilities and gifts of the Spirit are given to you to be used mightily, for the Kingdom of God to be established on earth. We are all here to do the task of spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth and then, when Jesus comes and rules in the world physically, He will reward us by giving cities to rule and take respectable positions to rule and reign with Him forever. You have to take the words of the Lord Jesus seriously and do accordingly, becoming close to Him and establishing His ministries in this world. Only then we can have a better life eternally with Him.
