The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand:
“In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ”” Matthew 3:1-3 (NKJV); Mark 1:14-15(NKJV)
Jesus, the Son of God brought heaven to us by His Presence which brought marvellous light to the world that was in darkness. Those who with Jesus saw, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven at hand’. People on earth never knew God and have no idea about the place He dwells. Jesus is the One who knew where He came from and where He was going. John 13:3(NKJV) And preached His sermons about the Heaven and the God His Father, who dwells there describing by parables and illustrations. Now we Christians also know very well where we came from and where we are going, unlike the others who do not know Christ Jesus, and are still earthly minded. Therefore our attention should be on things above and have a heavenly mindset to receive all the blessings God has given to us freely with Jesus Christ, His Son. Romans 8:31-32(NKJV)
The Lord is at hand:
“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.” Philippians 4:4-5 (NKJV)
It is high time we all should be heavenly minded because, ‘The Lord is at hand’, Jesus is coming for His Church, the Bride, anytime. There is no much time to be involved in this worldly activities and miss the Rapture. “But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none, those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess, and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.” 1 Corinthians 7:29-31(NKJV) Because no matter how much you try and fix your life in this fallen world, where we are all living, you will have problems following you and there will be no end to it. Ultimately you would have lived your whole life trying your best just to fix problems one after the other. The Word of God is warning us, nonstop, not to be careless about heaven but be ready to meet the Lord in the air. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18(NKJV)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” 1 Peter 1:3-5 (NKJV); John 14:1-3(NKJV)
