“But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”” Mark 14:61-62 (NIV)
Jesus decreed and declared the plans of God:
““In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.” Daniel 7:13-14 (NIV)
What was Jesus doing? Jesus called Himself Son of man because He did not operate as God on earth, but took a human form like us and filled by the Holy Spirit and operated in that power. He knew the prophecies God had spoken over His life, He decreed and declared and He was prepared to go through all hardship to attain those glorious victory, and good time He would be having; because God His Father was going to give Him after He endured the Cross and took hold of the keys of Hades defeating the enemy, the devil. Jesus was seeing everything done with His spiritual eyes. Jesus was walking by faith and not by sight. In reality during that hour He was handed over to the authorities, who had decided to kill Him long ago and had made some attempts too.
Proclaim your victory over death in Jesus:
“According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 (NIV); Isaiah 26:19-21(NIV)
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NIV) Jesus gave us the same power that raised Him from the dead inside of us, Holy Spirit anointing on us and Jesus also praying for us from heaven. Ephesians 1:19-23(NIV) We have a better position than Jesus. The victory for our redemption had been won already almost 2000 years before we came into this world, so we should be very sure of our position and walk by faith, not by sight facing our situations that look contrary, but temporary. Going to the next world to live and reign with Jesus now and forever are the prophecies of God we receive for sure. Amen.
““At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”” Daniel 12:1-4 (NIV)
