FOR A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORD AND NEW REVELATIONS
How many of us really felt that we have sin in us and truly asked God to forgive? For that we need to self-examine ourselves thoroughly and sincerely. Because if we confess our sins God is gracious enough to forgive us from all sins. Jesus explained how much are we forgiven affects the way we love Him. He said,“Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”” Luke 7:47 (NKJV)
In the New Testament, in many places you can read that there is a Book of Life kept in Heaven and names are written in them. And some names are not written in the Book of Life or some names are blotted out from the Book of Life. So we see there is a significant importance given to our names should be written in this Book. Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”” Luke 10:18-20 (NIV)
We are the children of God so why do we face storms and troubles in life we might think. We want all things go right with us. Jesus said, ““I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”” John 16:33 (NIV) The Lord Jesus promises that He overcame so by believing His finished work on the Cross we can overcome too. It is our job to overcome not go under. Fight a good fight of the faith.
After you are Born Again in spirit, we have to grow in spirit as every individual born in flesh in this world grow to be a matured person. If the baby born in the world; got to drink milk first and then solids and grow, if they do not, we say there is something terribly wrong and we will be very much bothered. But in spiritual life, if one is born and start living by 1 drinking milk- know the Word of God and do not grow into 2 eating solids – putting what they learnt into practice; we are overlooking this big problem that is created by them in the Body of Christ.
If we ask this question to anyone, “Why are we on earth?” Surely no one knows the answer. But we, who are in Christ Jesus, know because He knew where He came from and where He is going (John 8:14); so we too learnt that we are from God and we go back to Him. We are passing through this world. But Jesus gave us more responsibilities than just passing through like others who do not know the Lord. How many of us know we are here for God’s Purposes and we are appointed as His Ambassadors and we are not an accident?!
During this time of lockdown the worship centres are closed for extended period. Question may arise if there is any good in coming together at the Church. Here is what Jesus said on the subject in John 4:23,24 (NKJV), “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
When Adam sinned God got to think about Judgement. God is not setting everyone free by His Grace without punishment.God set us free on the basis of the atonement for our sin was paid by Jesus on the Cross. Now because Jesus took the punishment on our behalf, God appointed Jesus as the Judge over all mankind. Yes Jesus has every right to judge those who disobey His Commandments. He will be the Just Judge over the whole world and that Day of The Lord is coming soon!
Now people suffer because they are not satisfied with what they already have. In this world every individual is created unique by God for some unique purposes to be done by him or her. But people are trying to be stereo type. They want to be just like the other person they see. No, this is not the will of God. He made every man’s hair, eye and hand prints are entirely different and in this the truth is revealed. Only you can do the exact job for God to which He created you. So be content in what Christ Jesus is training and preparing you and do only what purposes you were called to do without fail.
God kept life or death in front of Adam to choose. Both the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge were kept in the middle of the garden God created for Adam. This is God given freedom. Even now God has kept both in our time too 2 paths to choose- Narrow path or Broad Path. The same test and the answer is also very clear to all. What are we choosing? God is dividing even inside the house of God as Goats or Sheep. Which side have you selected?
What does attract you the most; glamorous life here and now or Love of God that gives you glorious life not only here on earth but also for the world to come. This is an important question everyone should ask ourselves and be sure what we are really going after. In the pretence of going to God in prayer, what are you praying for, matters. God wants us to be consumed by the Love He showered upon us to save us from this wretched world; not to be happily settled in it as most people do.
