Prophecy
During Christmas Season we hear about the word ‘prophecy’ a lot. Jesus is the fulfilment of many prophecies. Bible is full of the prophecies of Jesus’ first and second coming to this world. What is the significance?
Put Faith to Work
Jesus talked about faith most of the times. He said have faith in God, in Him, our words and prayers. He always got angry when the disciples doubted and feared. He called them, “O you of little faith”. He taught about how one could do great things with faith the size of a mustard seed.
Three Part Being
Just like God we know as TRINITY GOD, THE FATHER, SON & THE HOLY SPIRIT, we too are three part being. “Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (ESV)
The Power of Praise
During Praise and Worship time in Church we sing songs, play musical instruments, clap hands, raise hands, jump, dance and we praise God. Or we praise God, when we give testimony in church, or meet another believer. The question we need to answer is – Are we praising God enough outside the Church?
Entering Into God’s Sabbath-Rest
When we hear Sabbath, first of all we remember that it is one of the Ten commandments. “Remember the Sabbath Day by keeping it holy.” Exodus 20:8. We observe Sabbath Day, Sunday to attend church and rest at home fellowshipping with our family. Some observe as Saturday by not doing any work and having food kept ready to feast all day. These are the religious activities we see people doing around us during Sabbath Day. In NewTestament it is written that there is a Sabbath-Rest for the people of God.
Living Under Grace
So often we hear people of all religious backgrounds use the term “By the grace of God” in everyday conversations. What does it mean to be living under grace? It is to live a life conscious of righteousness that is in Jesus; because we have accepted Him to be our Lord and Saviour we are covered by His righteousness. To live under cover of grace is not being conscious of sin because sin has lost its dominion over us for we are not under law any more but under grace.
Believers’ Authority
We the believers have the same authority over the devil and kingdom of darkness that Jesus gave to His disciples. By not exercising the powers vested in us we are slowing down the establishment of the Kingdom of God; we are allowing the devil, his powers and principalities to kill steal and destroy our lives and that of other believers in the body of Christ (Church).
Our Identity in Christ
True identity of a believer is in relation to Christ and His Kingdom. Identity defines the true purpose of one’s life. Learn to walk and live according to His plan and purpose for your life.
Salvation Through Christ
All of us are born in sin because of Adam’s disobedience to God. But God made a provision to get humanity out of this sinful life. For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man (Jesus) the many will be made righteous.
