“I am the light of the world” – JESUS

Apostle John led by the Holy Spirit describes saying Jesus’ Life on the earth itself was the light to all mankind. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5 (NIV) This shows the whole mankind were walking in darkness not knowing what is good or evil. When Jesus spoke, His teachings brought light to their consciousness and those people who had followed Jesus understood the difference between God and the devil.

Be Jesus-Conscious, Not Self-Conscious

What is Self- conscious?

For some people life is all about I, myself and me. Meditating on self all the time, makes you self-centred, selfish which results in— Self- pity, which hurts you all the time or Self-righteous, which makes you feel boastful , which separates you because you get offended very fast. This life-style is fleshy, sensual and demonic. Paul in the letter to Timothy says about the LAST DAYS people will be self-centred.

Jesus was born of God through virgin birth and everyone who believes this supernatural birth of Jesus by Virgin Mary believes in God. God showed His love by sending Jesus, the lamb of God, as our sin offering and that is why He was born in a manger. We are indebted to God to receive His love and reciprocate by keeping His Commandments given through Jesus Christ’s teachings. Only by keeping Jesus’ Commandments through faith one can overcome the world and be victorious as He expects us to be.

The teachings of our Lord Jesus are always convincing and making us feel good in His Presence. We can feel that He has chosen us and lavishing us with His love. Let us be reminded of His love and care more than other things that are required of us. We belong to God and so we are different and blessed. If we follow all Jesus’ Commandments with His Holy Spirit power working in us our life will be so easy and enjoyable. God knows our hearts therefore be faithful in the least of your activities, He will reward us with much trusting us.

God wanted to send His Son to earth to redeem us from the fallen state and He needed the prophets, who listened to His Voice, to speak and write the whole life of Jesus from the birth till He rose from the dead victoriously, so that God being in spirit can use those spoken words of the prophets to bring them physically on earth; because mankind was in control of the world and is still in control of the physical world. Jesus finished His work on the Cross and cried out, “It is finished”. Now it is the time for the people of God to repent and accept Jesus and proclaim of His Second coming, so that God can use the spoken and written prophecies to come to pass physically, because God waited 2000 long years and He will call on a day, we do not expect, to end everything saying, “It is done!”

GOD’S WISDOM Vs WORLD’S WISDOM

Worldly people are having some kind of wisdom and they seem to be successful. But they are doing everything out of harbouring bitter envy and selfish ambition in their hearts. They think nothing wrong in it saying that is how one can be motivated. But the Word of God we read just now says such kind of wisdom is earthly, unspiritual and of the devil. And that is why you find every disorder and every evil practice. Heavenly wisdom is first of all pure, then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. How wonderful is the wisdom from God!!

The Lord Is At Hand

The New Testament starts with the message saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand’, to prepare the way of the Lord Jesus’ First coming, was given by John the Baptist who was the last prophet of the Old Testament and was respected by all and many took the baptism given by him including Jesus Himself, to honour the righteousness of God in obedience to the Law. Later Paul was given the position of the prophet for the Churches, who has now given the message saying, ‘The Lord is at hand’, to prepare the way of the Lord Jesus’ Second Coming. Our Lord Jesus is coming soon to take us to the place He has prepared in Heaven. (John 14:1-3)

A New Living Way To The Holy Of Holies

Before we were all born and living in this 21st century, Jesus was crucified on the Cross. God’s anger over sin was satisfied by Jesus’ blood and we all enter into holy of Holies through the veil, that is, Jesus’ flesh. This is the New Living Way for all to enter. God will not judge or punish the human race again for their sins, if He does, it is called double jeopardy. Therefore all our sins past, present and future were all removed from us before we were born, and we should have the boldness to come to the Throne of God without feeling guilty and receive His Grace and Blessings. Those who have accepted Jesus as their saviour should not have evil, sin conscious anymore; but feel clean inside out.

Christian life being spiritual life we got to be growing well and mature after we were Born Again. This growth is not happening much and that is why the Kingdom of God is suffering as no one is matured enough to establish themselves without much support from other fellow Christians. The Lord Jesus is looking for grown up followers to take up responsibilities and use the authorities to execute the rules and regulations in the society. There are many children of God, but the Word of God says a child is equal to a slave till it grows into adult. That is why God sent the Spirit of His Son, the Holy Spirit to enable us to be like His Son, Jesus Christ in every way, when we receive Him and cooperate with Him to mature perfectly. (Galatians 4:1-7)
